1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Medieval Discord ("we", "us", "the discord guild") collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (referred to as "you" or "users", "member") of the Medieval Discord Guild.

2. Data We Collect

When you join the Discord guild "Medieval Discord", we collect the following data from you:

• MD User Data

  This is the data that we store on our internal database. This data is extracted from your Discord account and it includes the following:

  • Discord ID: This is a unique identifier assigned to your Discord account.

  • Discord Username: We collect your username as it appears on Discord upon joining the server.

  • Time and Date of Joining and Leaving: We record the date and time when you join and leave our server.

• MD Character Data This is the data that we additionally store internally within our database and is tied with your fictional character that you create while using our services inside of Medieval Discord. This data has no connections to your Discord account and is purely fictional. Additionally, it is automatically removed along with the MD User Data and is never present without it inside of our internal database.

• User Messages: Messages sent within the Medieval Discord Guild server are stored within Discord itself and are subject to Discord's own privacy policies and terms of service. We do not govern this data nor do we control it. It may be removed or modified at any point in time.

3. Data Retention

The data we collect and retain is handled in the following way:

• MD User Data is stored for as long as you are a member of Medieval Discord, the Discord guild. The data is additionally retained for up to 14 days after your departure from the Discord guild so that in case of your return, you may proceed to use our services without disruptions.

  • This data may be retained for more than 14 days for users that explicitly request this. Users may only make such a request for their own data. We hold the right to deny this request.

  • The removal of this data before the 14 day period, either after your departure or during your membership of our Discord guild, may be requested by you and will be granted unconditionally (Right to Erasure).

• User Messages: Messages sent within the server are stored within the Discord guild itself and in that extend, Discord, and are subject to Discord's own data retention policies. 4. Your Rights

As a member of Medieval Discord, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to Access: You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you.

• Right to Rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.

• Right to Erasure: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data from our records.

• Right to Restrict Processing: You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data.

• Right to Object: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.

Exercising your Right to Erasure, Right to Restrict Processing and Right to Object will additionally result in your removal from the "Medieval Discord" Discord guild as this data is needed for our services to properly function.
